Universal Rubber Belt Manufacturing LLC is a world-class manufacturer of automotive and industrial power transmission belts, proudly made in Dubai. As we expand our Universal brand across the MENA region, we are building strong distribution networks in both automotive aftermarket and industrial sectors, with a stronger focus on automotive growth.

We are seeking a Senior Business Developer who will execute our market penetration strategy, build customer relationships, and drive distributor partnerships in both segments, while working closely with the CRO.

Key Responsibilities

Market Expansion – Automotive (Main Focus) & Industrial

  • Identify and approach automotive distributors, chain spare parts shops, wholesalers, buying groups, and fleet operators across MENA.
  • Support the growth of industrial business channels (OEMs, factories, industrial suppliers).
  • Assist in onboarding and managing distributors in both automotive and industrial segments.
  • Develop market entry and penetration plans with stronger emphasis on automotive aftermarket hubs.
  • Track competitor activities in both sectors and provide practical recommendations.

Sales Growth & Customer Relationships

  • Execute sales growth plans across automotive and industrial belts, ensuring monthly/quarterly targets are met.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and industrial partners.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers to strengthen product confidence.
  • Implement rebate, incentive, and support programs tailored primarily to automotive distributors, while extending benefits to industrial customers.

Market Research & Reporting

  • Conduct market studies, price surveys, and competitor benchmarking in both industries.
  • Deliver clear reports and insights to the CRO and senior management for decision-making.
  • Suggest opportunities for new revenue streams, especially within the automotive aftermarket.

Exhibitions & Events

  • Plan and coordinate Universal’s participation in automotive and industrial exhibitions and trade shows across MENA.
  • Arrange meetings with potential distributors and partners during events.
  • Prepare post-exhibition evaluations to assess ROI, leads, and market feedback.

Commercial & Financial Support

  • Assist in tracking P&L performance for both automotive and industrial business lines.
  • Work with finance to monitor pricing policies, margins, and payment terms.
  • Ensure distributor performance is aligned with sales targets.

Candidate Profile

  • 7+ years’ experience in business development or sales in automotive aftermarket (industrial market knowledge is a strong plus).
  • Strong network with automotive distributors, wholesalers, and spare parts chains in MENA.
  • Experience with industrial suppliers, OEMs, and factory-level customers is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of rebate programs, incentives, and commercial agreements.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic or French is a strong advantage.
